No verdict reached yet in Teddy Afro’s trial

Teddy Afro’s trail was expected to come to end yesterday. However, it is becoming something of an illusive dream. In consideration that lasted only seven minutes, his case was adjourned again, for December 1, 2008.

One month more! It was a decision that wrenchingly broke the spirits of his relatives, friends and admirers gathered in the courtroom hoping for a final veridct. Why would take such a long time is inexplicable!

Awara Amba Times reported this morning that Tibebe Workye, a popular singer, who came to attend the hearing, was detained for 20 minutes for greeting Teddy with a hand sign showing victory.

What do we expect? They know very well Teddy Afro is like a sparkling star in Ethiopian’s heart and mind, and has a potential to change a nation, which they don’t want to happen.

What they don’t know is he is SHINING more when they keep him in prison and he is loved more than any time. You know what? Teddy may do more and more if they release him, but he has done enough to win people’s heart and to follow his spirit.

We love you and adhore you, Teddy.

I do not understand what is so difficuly here, and why the trial has lasted this long. The day that the death certificate was incorrect is the day that the trial should have ended. The case should have been thrown out because obviously these are faulty pieces of evidence that contradict the verdict. We wonder why Africa never moves forward it’s because of unjust cases such as Teddy’s…..

Meche new yimialfilin? Obama is a start!

okay….’hit and run’ i.e innocent person has died in the hands of a drunken reckless driver…

if it was some other person am sure everyone would agree with a life imprisnment..but nooooooooooo ITS teddy…. poeple need to have sympathy for th family of the victim not poor ol teddy ‘tegabegna’

i love his music..but if he is found guilty he needs to get locked up.

p.s it will be good for him too..more albums can come out of the expirirence lol…agree?
