Teddy Afro’s sentence cut

Teddy Afro who has been convicted to causing the death of a young man in hit and run incident has had his jail sentence reduced.

Teddy who was imprisoned for six years saw his six year jail sentence cut by four years.

After hearing Teddy’s appeal, the Federal Supreme Court, this morning decided the judges had been mistaken for the six year sentence allowed for the offence and squashed the original punishment and replace it with two years.

Thus, Teddy would spend only two years in prison.

    2 years sentence for:
    – Drunk driving
    – Driving without license &
    – Hit and run sound like a joke. But maybe this has nothing to do with justice being served to begin with. If it did, and Teddy Afro is getting only a slap on the wrist so the government could win more votes on the forth-coming election, this won’t be a first. Artist Semahign (Semahgn) Belew is another celebrity who got away with the murder of Girum Tesfaye, Artist Tesfaye Lemmesa’s 31 year-old son. And ofcourse OJ Simpson.
