Teddy to celebrate birthday in prison
Teddy Afro turns 32 on Monday, July 14.Unfortunately, he has to celebrate his birthday behind bars as his trial has been adjourned again.
Supporters are planning to mark his birthday with a call for his release.His family and friends are pinning hope in the next appearance but there is a hushed worry on the minds of many if he is going to walk free.Teddy’s continued popularity makes him a threat that the unpopular government do not want to contend with.
Teddy has been charged for leaving a scene of a car accident that allegedly caused the death a young man but many feel that he is the subject for a political vendetta of his protest songs and his trial as a miscarriage for justice.
His next court appearance is in July 21.
