Teddy may yet face charge and lawsuit

As strange as it sounds, Teddy Afro’s hit-and-run allegation is far from over.Addis Admass, the Amharic weekly, that came out today has a statment from the Addis Ababa Trafic Police Office which says that Teddy has to face charge and he was only realeased on bail.

An inspector from the Office quoted by the paper was said to have that three guards who were on duty testified it was the singer’s car that caused the accident.

The Inspector was also quoted to have said that Teddy was questioned a day after the accident and admitted to have passed through the street three times.

The Traffic Office says it is gathering medical evidences and testimonals and would send them to the Justice Minister after.

Teddy still insists that the allegation is false and he was nowhere around the scene where the accident was said to have occured.

Is this a case of reality being stranger than fiction?

I don’t feel Teddy did it.He is paying for his perceived anti-govermnet lyrics that has put him in the Meles camps black list.Last year, he was even forced to cancel a concert in Sweden because of death threat.
This is strange, as Teddy sings only about love, peace, co-existance and non-violence.
