The long-delayed magazine, the Big Issue is out. It was on May 04, 2006 that CoffeeChiliSun wrote about the launching of the magazine. But it was only last Friday that the magazine hit the streets, the delay caused by some license difficulties, I heared.
Better late than never.Looking at the thier number one issue, one would feel it is worth waiting and I am impressed by the content of the articles. I can fairly say it is one of the most satisfactory Ethiopian magazines that I have seen in recent times.I’ll come back for a detailed look over the course of the week.

The second issue of Parent’s Corner is out.
If you haven’t seen it before ,a few words of explanation: It‘s Ethiopian pioneering English language family magazine that came out last June.
A remarkably well-written and well-designed magazine.
And it is nice to see they’ve made it to the second issue. After all, the magazine business in this country is not that dependable. (more…)
Betemekdes Tilahun has discovered a lot in her numerous travels abroad while working for Ethiopian Airlines for seven years. But there was one discovery that ‘pained her heart’ which was ‘how little or no idea the world has about the country’.So she teamed up with friends and launched Addis Affairs- a bilingual magazine, which came out last June. It is full color, glossy magazine and ‘the first of five “Ethiopian Millennium is coming” editions which is going to come out tri-monthly until 2000 E.C when special millennium edition will be published.
